The Spirits // Jo Duck

Yesterday we had the lovely Jo Duck shoot The Spirits for our Summer Issue, as usual Jo did what Jo does best, and the shots of course look amazing.

Last night a crew of us also went to see The Spirits live and it was amazing. I know I rarely rave on about my personal thoughts, but there is no doubt in my mind, The Spirits will be massive. So be excited for our Summer Issue and future gigs and so forth from the boys.

Also check out the latest issue of Fallen, which of course features Jo Duck's work, including the cover, yep, she's cool.

Imelda // Jean Brown Window

My friend Mr Matt Jordan the man behind the mega successful blog Imelda.com.au has been honored with a shop front window. The collaborative exhibition is with luxury retailer Jean Brown.

Imelda (Jordan) who is globally recognised for providing a daily does of satirical commentary about developments in the world of shoe design on his blog Imelda.com.au entertained more than one hundred of Queenslands' fashion cognoscenti at Jean Brown's Brisbane flagship store.

Known for its ongoing schedule of historical fashion exhibitions, Jean Brown pushes beyond the blogger/retailer alignment by bringing the blogger inside from  'window subject' [ in this case devoted to Imelda/Matt Jordan shoe shrine] to authoritative on exhibition content.

The Imeldific! 20th Century Shoe Design in-store exhibition and window continues at Jean Brown Gallery until 30 Nov 2009.
